Every Dude on DudesChat is a verified, adult human. Here's how we check — and what we do and don't keep.
Because nothing kills an app like talking to a bot. Verification is the core promise of DudesChat: when you message someone, there's a real adult Dude on the other end — the one in the photo. That takes real checks, not a checkbox.
Your main profile photo is reviewed by a human before your profile becomes visible: it must clearly be you, and it must follow the Content Guidelines. Review usually takes about 24 hours. If a photo is declined, you'll be told why and can upload another.
When you upload, you confirm the photo is of yourself. Profiles using someone else's photos get reported fast — and removed.
DudesChat is for adults only. At sign-up you confirm your date of birth, and an age-verification step (a quick live check handled by our specialised verification partner) confirms you're 18 or older. It takes a minute or two and runs right in the app.
The point of verification is trust, not surveillance:
Accounts that fail verification, impersonate someone, or try to run more than one profile are removed. There's no three-strikes ladder for fakes — a fake account is a permanent ban.
If the age check won't complete, your photo review seems stuck beyond 24 hours, or you think a decision was wrong — appeal it via the contact form or email support@dudes.chat. A human will look at it.
