Who processes your payment, what shows up on your statement, how recurring billing works, and where to get help.
Founding contributions (the current campaign) are processed through Open Collective, with the payment handled by Stripe and recorded on a public, transparent ledger.
After launch, premium bought inside the app is processed by the platform you're on — the Apple App Store on iOS and Google Play on Android — under their billing and their rules. Premium bought on the web is handled through Open Collective (Stripe). In every case Theme Park AG (Zurich, Switzerland) is the operator of DudesChat.
A founding contribution shows an Open Collective / Stripe descriptor. An in‑app subscription shows the Apple or Google billing descriptor (such as APPLE.COM/BILL or Google * DudesChat), per their billing. The exact descriptor is shown to you before you confirm.
Founding contributions (Early Bird, Pioneer, Patron, Founder) are one‑time payments in CHF through Open Collective — nothing recurs.
After launch, in‑app subscriptions renew automatically through the App Store or Google Play at the price and interval shown at purchase, until you cancel. Apple and Google display the price, interval and renewal date before you confirm, and manage the renewal per their rules.
