How to cancel, when you can get a refund, and how long it takes. No hassle, no hidden conditions.
After launch, in‑app subscriptions renew automatically through the App Store or Google Play until you cancel. Cancel any time — it's managed by the store you bought from:

Founding contributions are covered by the Q4‑2026 ship‑or‑refund guarantee below. For in‑app subscriptions after launch, refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under their policies:
The founding tiers — Early Bird (CHF 59), Pioneer (CHF 99), Patron (CHF 199) and Founder (CHF 499) — are one‑time contributions in CHF, not subscriptions, processed through Open Collective (Stripe). They fund the build. If DudesChat fails to ship its app by Q4 2026, founding backers are entitled to a full refund — no questions, no forms, just a quick message via our contact form. For a founding contribution, message us via the contact form with the email on your contribution — we refund through Open Collective to your original payment method. For an in‑app subscription, request the refund from Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play, since they processed the charge.
You'll usually get a response within 1 business day, and up to 4 business days at most. Once a refund is issued, the time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
