Most free apps are paid for by advertising. DudesChat isn't: no ads, no sponsored profiles, no selling your data. It's free to use, and the members who choose Supporter pay for the whole thing.
An app that is free and runs on advertising has two customers: the advertisers who pay, and the members who are the audience. That's where the banners, the interruptions and the paid placements come from — your attention is what is being sold.

Members fund it. Joining and using DudesChat costs nothing — your profile, photo albums, Discover, Messages, the Feed, verification and the safety tools are all free. The optional Supporter subscription pays for the service and unlocks extras.
