How to report
Reporting is available on every profile and in every conversation; tap Report under his photos, or the flag at the top of a conversation. Pick what's wrong:
- Fake profile / catfish
- Inappropriate content
- Harassment or abuse
- Spam or scam
- Underage user
- Illegal or dangerous
- Anything else — with room to describe it
You can add details before sending. Reports are confidential — the reported member is never told who reported him.
How to block
Blocking is offered right in the report flow, or directly from a profile or conversation. When you block a Dude:
- He can no longer message you, and you won't see each other in Discover or the Feed.
- Existing conversations with him disappear from your Messages.
- He isn't notified.
Manage your blocks under Menu → Blocked Users — you can unblock anyone there, any time.
What happens after you report
Every report goes to a human moderator — decisions about members are made by people, not algorithms. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Depending on what we find, content is removed, the member is warned, restricted, or banned. Zero-tolerance categories — underage users, credible threats, illegal content — mean immediate removal and, where the law requires it, a report to the authorities.

Child safety standards
DudesChat is an adult service for men 18 and over. Child sexual abuse and exploitation — including any sexual content involving a minor, grooming, solicitation of a minor, or trading in such material — is absolutely prohibited here. There is no warning, no strike system and no appeal for it: it ends the account and it goes to the police.
These are our published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), and how we enforce them.
Who can be here
- DudesChat is 18+ only. Accounts must belong to an adult, and age is checked by an independent verification provider — a live video age estimate, with photo ID required where the estimate is not clear-cut. It is not self-declaration.
- "Underage user" is one of the standing report reasons on every profile and in every conversation.
- An account we believe belongs to a minor is removed. We do not keep it open while we deliberate.
How we prevent it
- Every photo and video is reviewed by a person before anyone can see it — public slots, avatar and private albums alike. Nothing uploaded is published automatically, so nothing appears on a profile unreviewed.
- A profile stays invisible until its avatar has been approved.
- Direct messages are covered by member reports and by automatic protective suspension when a report crosses defined thresholds.
How to report it
- In the app: the report option on any profile or conversation. "Underage user" and "Illegal or dangerous" are explicit choices. Reports are confidential — the reported member is never told who reported him.
- By email, from anywhere: report_abuse@mail.dudes.chat. This reaches our moderation desk directly and opens a tracked case, whether or not you have an account.
- Every report is reviewed by a human within 24 hours. Anything alleging child sexual abuse material is treated as immediate priority.
What we do when it is reported
We work to an apparent standard: if material reasonably appears to be child sexual abuse material, we treat it as such. Our moderators do not investigate, and do not attempt to establish the age of anyone depicted.
- Evidence is preserved before anything else happens. The material is fingerprinted and locked to a case reference in a restricted store. It is never deleted, and deletion is refused by the system itself while a referral is open.
- The content is removed from view and the account is suspended. We do not erase the account, because doing so would destroy the evidence.
- We refer it to the authorities. Theme Park AG is established in Switzerland, so reports go to fedpol, the Swiss Federal Office of Police, which routes internationally where the uploader or the victim is in another country.
- We never transmit the material itself — not by email, ticket or screenshot. Authorities receive the report, the case reference and the file fingerprint, and take the content through their own secure channel or on legal order.
- We do not tip anyone off. A member is never told that a referral has been made.
- Records are kept for at least 12 months, or until the authority closes the case — whichever is later.
Accountability
DudesChat is operated by Theme Park AG, Zentralstrasse 43, 8003 Zurich, Switzerland. We comply with Swiss child-protection law and report to the competent national authorities. A named person at the company is accountable for every referral; moderators escalate, they do not file.

Disagree with a decision?
If your content was removed or your account restricted and you think we got it wrong, appeal via the contact form. Appeals are read by a human who wasn't involved in the original decision.
