Reporting & blocking.

If something's wrong — a fake profile, harassment, content that crosses the line — here's how to deal with it, and what we do on our end.

In short

  • Report any member or content from their profile or from any conversation — two taps.
  • Block instantly cuts all contact, both directions. He's not told.
  • Every report is reviewed by a human within 24 hours.
  • Zero tolerance for underage users, harassment, and illegal content — those end accounts.

How to report

Reporting is available on every profile and in every conversation; look for the report option in the menu. Pick what's wrong:

You can add details before sending. Reports are confidential — the reported member is never told who reported him.

Report & Block Jonas Cancel
Two taps from any profile or conversation. Confidential, human-reviewed within 24 hours.

How to block

Blocking is offered right in the report flow, or directly from a profile or conversation. When you block a Dude:

Manage your blocks under Menu → Blocked users — you can unblock anyone there, any time.

What happens after you report

Every report goes to a human moderator — decisions about members are made by people, not algorithms. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Depending on what we find, content is removed, the member is warned, restricted, or banned. Zero-tolerance categories — underage users, credible threats, illegal content — mean immediate removal and, where the law requires it, a report to the authorities.

The Content Guidelines define where the lines are; the Content Removal policy covers takedowns, including reports from outside the app.

Disagree with a decision?

If your content was removed or your account restricted and you think we got it wrong, appeal via the contact form. Appeals are read by a human who wasn't involved in the original decision.

Urgent situations

If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. For anything urgent on the platform, email support@dudes.chat with "urgent" in the subject line.
