Meet DudesChat. Same DN soul, brand new app.

A couple of months ago we asked if we should build a dedicated app. Nearly 2,000 of you answered. Here's what we built — and what we flatly refused to build.

A couple of months ago, we threw a question at you: should we build a dedicated app? Nearly 2,000 of you shot back, hundreds left detailed comments, and yes — we actually read every single one. (Twice, in some cases.)

The headline was beautifully symmetrical: 75% of you said yes, build it. And the same 75% said, in slightly different words, "for the love of god, don't turn DN into just another generic hookup app."

Message received. We built to that brief. It has a name.

Meet DudesChat. A pants-on social app from Theme Park Software — built by the same crew that's run DudesNude for 24 years. Same community. Pants on.

One family. Two front doors.

Here's the part worth being clear about: DudesChat is its own app. Its own brand. Not DudesNude squashed onto a phone, not a watered-down copy.

Think of it as the same neighborhood with two front doors.

Same guys, same community, two settings. Use one, the other, or both. We'll happily hold the door.

Your account, both doors

DudesChat has its own sign-up — but if you're already on DudesNude, link the two in two taps and skip the email verification entirely. Profile, photos, connections, all of it travels with you. One identity, two front doors.

For the many of you who've been here for a decade or two: nothing you've built goes anywhere. It comes with you.

Built for actual human connection

The #1 thing you asked for, by a country mile, was knowing who's around. So a location grid is core. But a grid of faces on its own is just every other app. What's always set DN apart is that the people here are expressive — open about who they are and what they're up for. So DudesChat is built around three things working together.

That's the difference between a hookup app and DudesChat: not just who's close, but who's close and on your exact wavelength.

Privacy first, zero catfishes

Two concerns came up over and over in your comments, and we built the app around both.

Privacy. Your location is blurred before it ever leaves your phone — roughly 100m in the city, 500m out in the sticks. Distance shows; coordinates never do. There's a travel mode for when you're somewhere new, and a pause-location toggle for the days you want off the map entirely. Absolutely no ads, no selling data to random corporations. DudesChat is member-funded, which means you're the member, not the product.

Real guys only. A lot of you have watched other platforms fill up with bots, fakes, and spam, and you told us plainly you don't want that here. Every new member passes a reality check before they can fully jump in — linking your DudesNude account is the fast lane through it. A little friction up front in exchange for a community that stays worth being part of.

Be part of the launch

DudesChat lands in 2026 on iOS, Android, and the web. Two ways to be part of it before everyone else.

Founder presale

Three tiers, presale only — Early Bird and Pioneer annual plans, and a one-time Founder tier for the guys who want to actually shape the thing. Caps are real: once a tier is gone, it's gone. Presale funds the build; if we don't ship the apps on time, you can get a full refund. No questions, no forms, just an email.

Cover photo competition

That hero photo on the DudesChat site? It should be one of us — no models, just Dudes. We ran a cover photo competition right here: anyone could enter, member or not. Entries closed July 7 — now the community votes, the founder circle gets the last word, and the winner's face lands on every phone that loads DudesChat.
