Two apps, two rulebooks. Here's why DudesChat starts fresh instead of importing your DudesNude gallery.
People keep asking the same fair question: if you've been on DudesNude for years, why doesn't DudesChat just pull in your photos and save you the trouble? The short answer — they're two different products, with two different rulebooks, and that difference is the whole point.
DudesNude is the established community on the web — 24 years of it, adults-only, its own standards, its own context. DudesChat is a new app for Dudes who like Dudes that plays by the App Store's guidelines on every platform: pants-on, non-explicit, the same rules everywhere. One isn't a watered-down copy of the other — they're separate places with separate jobs.
It would be easy to flip a switch and copy everyone's galleries across. We're deliberately not doing that — and the reasons are there to protect you:
You set DudesChat up as its own thing: your profile, your photos, chosen for this audience and checked against these rules. If you're on both, you can link your accounts to skip a verification step — but the content itself stays where it was posted. DudesNude stays DudesNude. DudesChat stays pants-on.
Same Dudes. Two doors. Nothing moves between them unless you choose it.
The entries are in, the gallery is open, and until August 31 the community decides who's out front. No account needed — back as many Dudes as you like, one vote each.
